The rhythmic structure in Saadi Youssef's poetry revolves around two fundamental issues, the first is embodied in the phonetic aspect of meter and rhythm, while the second is centered on the semantic aspect generated by the kinetics of the poetic image and its role in building the escalating poetic context, and through the synergy of these two axes clearly embodies to us the unique artistic ability possessed by the poet Saadi Youssef in achieving the levels of symmetry and harmony between the semantic and rhythmic content of the text.

based on this premise, the poem "a song for the five winds" was chosen to embody this vision to which we have referred, as it presents the dimensions of a self-vision in which the self is attached to the scenes of alienation, its lightning and multiplicity in exiles and unfamiliar places, accompanied by the emotions of despair and fear of unknown fate, which is the dominant image in most of the poem's verses, where the rhythm was able to embody that suffering in all its semantic and aesthetic dimensions.
