Abstract EN

The present study addresses the extent to which the coverage of Palestine TV affects the perception of students of media studies in the universities of West bank, Palestine towards the Russian-Palestinian relationships.

the data were gathered by distributing surveys among a random sample of students of the departments of media studies in three Palestinian universities ; namely, Hebron university, al-Quds university, and an-Najah university.

on top of that, a deep interview was conducted with the producers of Palestine TV, which addressed the results of the survey.

the study concluded that Palestine TV has an impact in directing public opinion among students of media studies in Palestinian universities towards the Russian federation.

this; in fact, is due to the fact that Palestine TV covers related issues to the positions of the Russian federation towards Middle East issues.

in the study, it has been found that 55% of students of media studies in Palestinian universities watch Palestine TV ; 59% of them agree that the role of the Russian federation in the Middle East and in the Palestinian issue should be increased.

on the other hand, the lowest percentage of students' agreement with the policy of the Russian federation is in its related policies in Syria (51%), Iran (50%), and the Gulf crisis (49%).
