Abstract EN

This study aims to shed light on the experience of microfinance in Algeria and its role in the fight against poverty and unemployment, this experience was studied through the National Agency for Microcredit Management, from 2004 to September 30, 2021, following a case study approach, we concluded that the Agency has contributed to the reduction of poverty and unemployment by granting microcredits to the poor in order to create income-generating economic activities.

It has also worked towards the economic integration of marginalized groups such as housewives, released prisoners and others, in addition to its concern for creating a society of class equality and equitable distribution of wealth, as the majority of microcredit beneficiaries have a low level of education.
