في هذا المقال، نحاول رصد أهم تجليات الخطاب الثقافي و الحضاري و طرق تشكله، وذلك من خلال رواية (بنات الرياض) للكاتبة السعودية رجاء الصانع، وهي رواية رأت النور ببيروت عام 2005 و أثارت ضجة كبيرة، بين مساند و مهاجم، عند صدورها.
هدفنا الأساس في هذا البحث هو فهم أسباب صدى هذه الرواية المدوي و تفكيك آليات صبغتها "الانتهازية"، أي تجاوبها وتوافقها مع روح العصر.

Abstract EN
The present article attempts to monitor the most important manifestations of the cultural and civilized discourse, and the ways of its formation, through the novel (Girls of Riyadh) [Banāt al-Riyāḍ] by the Saudi writer Rajaa al-Sanea.
This novel, upon its release, saw the light in Beirut in 2005 and caused much sensation between proponents and opponents.
Our main goal in this article is to understand the reasons for the resounding resonance of this novel and to dismantle the mechanisms of its "opportunism", that is, its response and compatibility with the spirit of the times.
