Abstract EN

Islamic banks are part of the global financial and banking system, therefore they are concerned with the application of Basel requirements, especially those approved by the committee after the global financial crisis in 2008, which puts it in front of many challenges, given that these standards were designed according to the characteristics of traditional banking, as this committee did not take into account the nature and objectives of Islamic banks, the operations they carry out, and the risks they face.

accordingly, this study aims to determine the extent to which Islamic banks adapt to the standards of supervisory control, and to examine the totality of measures taken within the framework of encouraging Islamic banking in light of the requirements of Basel 3.
