In light of the changes that the world is witnessing in general and the Algerian society in particular at various social, economic, political and even cultural levels, learning foreign languages, especially English and French, has become a basic necessity, especially for students and students, as English is considered the first global language, followed by the language.

French, as the teaching of one or more foreign languages with the mother tongue aims to expand the concepts of the student or pupil in order to expand his understanding and awareness of the world around him.

Each country has its own method and educational system for teaching foreign languages.

But despite the efforts made and the diversity of means in the process of teaching foreign languages, there are problems and difficulties that both the teacher and the learner receive, and in this context this study came trying to contribute to uncovering the difficulties of learning foreign languages in the middle stage in the Algerian school and this is through a study A field for a sample of students in Zghaib Mohamed Al-Taher middle School in the wilaya of Eloued, by relying on the descriptive approach.
