Abstract EN

The study aims to highlight the significance of the body as a semiotic milestone in the silent monodramas.

This research paper adopted a sample from the Monodrama entitled “silent scream” by lotfi ben sebaa seeking to highlight the body's value in the Algerian monodramas by using the semiotic approach in reading body language.

Among the obtained results, we notice restoring the body's position in the Algerian theater through its ability to convey intentional conntations and embodying the aesthetic spectacle of the recipient.
