This research paper is the outcome of our research based on the results of a field research conducted on a purposive sample of some Algerian families who have an autistic child within their members.

In this study, I have mainly tackled the characteristics of this family reality, and in the light of its investigation we can find out the type of the social link which is formed within the Algerian family in its relation with the autistic child.

The outcomes of this research allowed me finding out the typical image in its symbolic and cultural dimension formed by the members of the family about the autistic child, and hence determining the type of the social link formed within this family.
