Abstract EN

After the failure of the League of Nations to prevent the outbreak of World War II, the countries of the world proceeded to establish the United Nations Organization with its six organs to prevent the outbreak of a third world war.

So the research aims to focus on the role of the United Nations in maintaining international peace and security, and the suitability of the United Nations Charter to achieve that Objectives.

The importance of the research lies in shedding light on the factors behind the failure of the United Nations to achieve these goals.

Perhaps the failure is due to the control of the superpowers over the decisions of the Security Council and the General Assembly of the United Nations, as the resolution is often issued biased in favor of the interests of the United States, Russia and Israel and against the interests of the Arab countries.
