Relying on the provisions of the law on consumer protection, the legislator attempted to build an integrated system of general commitment to safety, first imposing on the professional an obligation of product safety, based on preventive rules and precautionary measures, to ensure the presentation of fair and marketable products.

Given the sensitivity of certain sectors such as the food sector, the legislator has supported this system with specialized legal provisions and texts regulating the sector concerned, in order to achieve food safety.
