This article aims to identify the stages that the health system has gone through in Algeria since independence to the present day, as well as the reform policies of this sector as a reflection of the conditions that prevailed in each stage, both political, economic and even social and environmental conditions, and each policy has its elements and objectives, but the goal the main goal that Algeria sought is to protect the health of individuals in general, especially with the corona virus pandemic, which, months ago, became the focus of attention of scholars and researchers in all fields of science in its various branches; it also became at the head of follow-ups and analyzes-not only of a purely medical nature, but also follow-ups and analyzes of a social, humanitarian and economic nature, and accordingly, we will try in this article to clarify the most important reforms that the health system has undergone for its continuity and stability, and the situation of the emerging corona crisis, which has become a problem.
