Abstract EN

The 2020 constitutional amendment included the establishment of a new constitutional institution under the name of the constitutional court, an independent constitutional institution that deals with the protection of the constitution and to achieve the constitutionality of laws and regulations.

this study deals with the treatment of the legal system for the formation and terms of reference of the constitutional court and its success in protecting the constitution and achieving constitutional oversight.

in Algeria on experience, jurisprudence and diversity in their formation and exclusion of political component, with expanding its terms of reference to regulators, interpretation of the constitution, and chapter in conflict between constitutional institutions.
