The exchange rate is one of the economic and financial indicators that express the quality of the economic performance of any country, and that any currency crisis is a situation in which there is serious doubt whether the central bank of a country has sufficient foreign exchange reserves to maintain the country's fixed exchange rate.

therefore, the aim of the study was to try to know the exchange rate crisis on two axes.

the first axis is the theoretical framework for the concept of the exchange rate crisis.

in the second axis, we studied the exchange rate crisis in Lebanon and the cause of the deterioration and collapse of the Lebanese pound.
