Abstract EN

This study aims at defining the financial risks to which Islamic banks are exposed, which are credit risks, liquidity, market risks and their most important types and divisions.

In addition to presenting the most important legal contracts (mortgage, deposit, guarantee, instruments, and others) to hedge against these risks.

We concluded that hedging contracts are among the newly developed contracts that aim to reduce risks and preserve money, and this is one of the purposes of Islamic Sharia.

We also recommend working on developing and innovating tools to hedge risks in accordance with Islamic Sharia so that Islamic banks can withstand their competitors in the economic environment.
