Through our study, we aim to find out the extent to which the tourism sector contributes as a source of funding for local development in Algeria, where many tourism countries have found a strategic alternative to exploiting their tourism resources in a way that ensures their sustainability and prevents them from relying on sources of hydrocarbons, and this is linked to the thought of awareness among the members of society and requires achieving a tourism culture for everyone to achieve tourism goals and thus achieve the development goals as a whole, as is the case in Turkey, which is one of the leading experiences in the field of tourism.
