تعتبر حرية النشاط الاقتصادي من بين المفاهيم الحديثة المنصوص عليها قانونيا فأهمية هذه الحرية في المجال الاقتصادي دفع بالمشرع الجزائري إلى التحرك و تأطيرها قانونيا، من خلال استخدام العديد من المفاهيم كحرية: التجارة، الاستثمار، المنافسة، الاستيراد و التصدير.

Freedom of economic activity is one of the modern concepts stipulated by the law and its importance in the economic field has moved and motivated the Algerian legislator to regulate it legally, through the use of several concepts related to the economy such as the freedom of trade, investment, competition, import and export.
