Abstract EN

The following historical study attempts to elucidate the most significant foreign writings - French and European - about one of the most important regions of Algeria during the French colonial period on the territory of Algeria 1830-1962.

This is associated to the writings of French travelers and military personnel who visited or established in Algeria during this period.

Our study was based on the new scientific birth launched by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, entitled: "The National Portal of Scientific Journals", through the inventory and counting of studies and articles related to the history and tribe of Ouled Naïl during the colonial period written by the Algerian researchers through this scientific portal.
