Some of what came in the Qur'an and Sunnah about the ways of disciplining children are : disciplining by directing and advising with tenderness and leniency.

disciplining by insinuating anger.

disciplining by hinting and exposing.

by admonition and rebuking.

by deserting and boycotting, and the last way is beating but with its legal controls.

Then.

if the child's condition is corrected.

we must be pleasant and kind to him so that he feels the tenderness and compassion of his parents lest it reflects negatively on his psyche.
