Abstract EN

this study dealt with the estimation of the savings function in Sudan in the period (1990-2020).

The study aimed to identify the factors affecting the savings function in Sudan, and to verify the existence of a standard problem in the estimated model of the savings function.

The study followed the analytical descriptive approach and the standard approach to estimate the savings function in Sudan.

The study found results, the most important of which is the presence of a significant inverse relationship between government spending and savings in Sudan during the study period.

And higher income rates increased the total savings in Sudan during the study period.

In light of the results of the study, several recommendations were recommended, the most important of which are: Working to increase national income with the aim of raising savings rates, As well as encouraging the Different economic sectors to save through a clear economic policy.
