Abstract EN

This study aims at identifying the reasons that made the followers (Allah blessed them) recollect the holy Quran during the era of Othman (Allah blessed him) after they have done that during the period of Abubakr and the connection between the collection of Othman and the seven characters that the holy Quran descended through them, and clarifying the intensive care that the holy Quran has found by the followers (Allah blessed them), who collect it in one book after it was scattered in some ancient calligraphy such as plots, stone boards and patches …etc.

then they made a number of copies during Othman period , they adopted one calligraphy agreed upon to be as a reference for all Muslims till the Day of Resurrection.

This research shed the light on the concept of the phrases collection and Othmani, to know what the meaning of the seven characters, their number, the seven Qiraats and summarize the reasons that made the seven Qiraats, in addition to show the difference between Abubakr Alsiddig collection and Othman Ibn Affan collection.
