Abstract EN

The study aimed to determine the role of human competencies in crisis management in Syrian government hospitals, the descriptive and analytical approach was used.

The questionnaire was relied on and distributed to a sample of workers at the Mouwasat Charitable Hospital, including medical and paramedical staff, and the number of distributed questionnaires reached (80) Questionnaire The questionnaires were collected so that (70) questionnaires were retrieved, valid for analysis.

The results were analyzed and the hypotheses were tested using the SPSS statistical program .The study found : There is a significant and significant relationship between human competencies represented by (availability of scientific and practical knowledge, availability of leadership skills, availability of positive behaviors) and crisis management in Syrian government hospitals.

The study also recommended the necessity to ensure good preparation at all administrative levels to provide training workshops for crisis and emergency management and to update training materials on a permanent and continuous basis.
