This article aims to define the dry cleaning process and when it was introduced, knowing how the dry cleaning machine works, what is the jurisprudential adaptation of the dry cleaning issue.

It is also to know the jurisprudential foundations and rules associated with dry cleaning, and to reach the legal ruling for the dry cleaning issue.

The study employs the descriptive analytical deductive approach.

It concludes with a number of findings, the most important of which are : dry cleaning removes impurity of clothes by removing color and odor.

Thus, washing with dry cleaning is often better than washing with water.

The chemicals used in the dry cleaning process are pure substances, and water is not necessary to remove impurity.

Moreover, there are types of clothes that can be washed only by dry cleaning.

These types of clothes are expensive clothes, and if they were washed with water, they would be prone and perhaps damaged.

Thus, people would suffer if dry cleaning is not permissible.

The companions and Salaf of the Prophet Mohammed (PBUH), and some jurists recommended to work with ease in issues that cannot be justified for provision except with the generality of the issue itself.
