Abstract EN

This research focuses on reasons of Saljukis's entering to Iraq.

after their triumph on Ghaznawis in a battlle, Saljukis entrered and established their state as a new Suni force.

they did that through corresponding and giving gifts to Abbasids to gain legitimacy.

they were given the authority by Abbasi Caliphate and they were able to extend their territory to Iran and Iraq boarder.

the abbasids authority was not stable and secure at that time due to constant threats on the bwaihi princes to the point that made caliphate to ask for help from saljukis to enter iraq.

athough, abbasid caliphate was weak financially which had negative impact militarily and politicaly, they did not lose their authority due to its prestige.

therfore, the surrounding forces were obliged to approch the caliphate to gain power and legitimacy.

this was the secrete that inspite of being stronger militarily, togrulbag was forced to join caliphate to gain the legitimacy.

this is considered main reason for entering saljukis to iraq to end bwaihis power in iraq and establish a new state.

apart from introdusction and conclusion, the research consists of five min chapters in which it mentions the origin of Saljukis and the establishment of their state in islamic civilisation as well as their relation to Abbasis.
