The research deals with the Russian-Ukrainian crisis as an international one that has grave consequences on the whole world after events have accelerated and escalations have recurred to the extent that Russia enters Ukrainian land to put an end to the western provocation; that Russia has always worried about the West getting close of its borders.

The research aims at providing a panoramic picture of the Russian- Ukrainian crisis tracing it from its early beginnings to show reasons, most significant milestones and developments, consequences, and possible scenarios of its end that determines the features of the next stage.

The research also shows the geo-economic and geopolitical significance of Ukraine, its features, and how geography turns blessing into a curse and pushes Ukraine amidst the conflict of superpowers that tears it apart day after day.
