This research deals with the issue of the primacy of writing in the context of talking about Maghreb literature written in French at the beginning of the twenty-first century, especially Algerian literature, by talking about the writings of "KatebYacine" and "Kamal Daoud".The writer's analysis revolved around trying to prove the influence of "Albert Camus" on Algerian novelists of different affiliations for two successive periods (colonial / post-colonial), especially through the novel "the stranger", which constituted an important reference for Algerian novels written in French.
