Abstract EN

Objective : This study aimed to identify the factors that influence fertility rates and their impact on the population policy and demographic transitions in Qatari society.

Methodology : The study used a descriptive analytical survey method to collect data from a random sample of 607 respondents who completed a questionnaire via computer-assisted personal interviewing.

Results : The results indicated significant response differences based on participants' age, educational attainment, employment status, and number of children.

The results further indicated that the socioeconomic changes had led to changes in individuals' behavior towards fertility, with an increase in the age of marriage and a delay in childbearing through the usage.
