Abstract EN

This study aims at investigating the qualifying program of pre-service teachers as supervisors in the area of educational activities at Al-Rustaq College of education, and the obstacles confronting practicing those activities.

a sample of 180 were selected.

a 35- item questionnaire was developed.

data were analysed using the (SPSS) program.

the study found that the program was still not well-developed and the teaching practice did not give the pre-service teachers the sufficient opportunity to participate in supervising the different activities in the educational fileds.

as for the differences among the respondents, the pre-services teachers in the English field and those who were members of the educational activities in the college were found to get the highest level in participation.

moreover, the study showed that all pre-service teachers had positive tendency towards utilizing the educational activities and they realized the importance of those activities in the educational field.

furthermore, the study identified a number of obstacles facing the pre service teachers, whether those related to the activities themselves or those related to the curriculum.

the study suggests a number of recommendations to improve the competency of the pre-service teachers' participation in the different educa tional activities in Al-Rustaq College in order to prepare them in managing and supervising those activities in actual educational fields.
