Abstract EN

The research aims at studying the effectiveness of using Information gap Strategy in Mathematics Achievement and learning retention.

Quasi-experimental approach was adopted; using two groups.

The experimental group (n=32) studied using Information Gap Strategy, and a control group (n=33) studied through the traditional method.

An achievement test was applied, and re-applied after 3 weeks.

Results indicated that statistically significant differences exist between the mean scores of the two groups in posttest favoring the experimental group.

However, no statistically significant differences were found between the mean scores of the two groups in the delayed posttest.
