لقد أولى النقاد والباحثون ولاسيما الشكلانيون الروس الحدث وانساقه اهتماما كبيرا في دراساتهم وقد استعمل الأديب الصابي في كتابه رسائله النثرية وأشعاره انساقا بنائية مختلفة في بناء أحداثه السردية للتعبير عن ما يمكن في خلجاته من مشاعر لإيصال صورا أكثر وضوحا وحيوية وتأثيرا في المتلقي.
