Abstract EN

This study dealt with the impact of social media on the Arabic language in light of the explosion of the information revolution and globalization and the emergence of what is known as the virtual society, where the world is experiencing the repercussions of this reality until communication has become a feature of globalization.

In the same way, social media has become the cultural and national identity of nations and peoples through their different languages, as an effective tool through which each individual can build his community relations.

The study aimed to know the impact of these methods in teaching the Arabic language, which is the language of statement and rhetoric, as well as knowing the value of linguistic practice in social networks that help build a knowledge and perception base among the various components of society.

The study concluded that what threatens the Arabic language today is the practice of its users, which made it in a position of weakness as it was not invested as much as is the case in other languages.

The researcher used the descriptive, analytical, and sometimes deductive method to study this phenomenon in its various stages by avoiding the disadvantages of use, and promoting the culture of communication in a way that preserves the position of the Arabic language as a global one that has its place among the languages of the world.
