After the victory of the Islamic Revolution in Iran in February 1979, it faced many problems, foremost of which was the economy.

The men of the revolution inherited difficult economic conditions left by the regime of Shah Muhammad Reza Pahlavi.

The leaders of the revolution began to pursue an economic policy aimed at controlling the situation, despite the many obstacles, including the American embargo.

And the war with Iraq, but they were able, even in a small way, to achieve a kind of economic stability as a result of a set of measures, foremost of which was the nationalization of large projects, and an attempt to distribute wealth equitably among all the Iranian people.
