Abstract EN

The study aimed to identify the degree of availability of crisis management skills among the principals of the Petra District schools in Jordan.

It relied on the descriptive research method, with its analytical and field survey method; Designing and applying a questionnaire tool that consisted of (30) items distributed over three areas, namely (crisis prediction skills, crisis handling skills, and crisis benefit skills).

The study sample consisted of (30) principals representing (63.82%) of the total community of (47) principals, according to the number of schools.

The study reached several results, the most important of which are: The degree of availability of crisis management skills as a whole among the Petra District school principals was estimated at an average degree of availability, with an arithmetic mean of (3.26) at the tool level; Where (the second domain: skills in dealing with crises) ranked first, followed by (the third domain: skills to benefit from crises) in the second rank, followed by (first domain: crisis forecasting skills) in the last rank among the domains.
