Abstract EN

The objective of research is to determine the level of role of parents and friends in adolescents' decision-making and to identify differences in the role of parents and friends in adolescents' decision-making, according to the search variables "gender, level of attainment, residential area", and recognize the relationship between the role of parents and the role of friends in adolescents' decision-making.

the researcher used the descriptive approach to achieve the his goals, and the research sample consisted of (373) male and female students from the secondary stage in the North Gaza Governorate, they are selected by stratigraphic random method, and the research tools consisted of two questionnaires, parents role and friends role identification, prepared by the researcher, the researcher processed the data of reasrarch using statistical package program for social sciences (spss).the researcher has reached many results, there are significant statistically differences in the role of parents and friends in adolescents taking their decisions, there are differences between males and females in the role of parents and friends in adolescents making their decisions in favor of males.

there are significant statistically differences in the role of parents and friends in adolescents' decision-making due to the academic achievement variable .there are significant statistically differences in the degrees of the role of parents and friends in adolescents making their decisions due to the variable of the place of residence in favor of beit hanoun.

the researcher recommends to find programs that improve the decision-making skills among for high school students.
