Abstract EN
Recently, after decreasing the fossil fuel production, developed and developing countries are facing huge challenges toward energy production.
Energy crisis not only effects negatively the industry, agricultural, commercial and residential sectors but it also effects negatively the developing and quality of life in this countries as well as it stands in front of building a new mega projects.
Relaying on renewable energy sources is one of the methods used to tackle the energy problem.
The increasing in energy costs produced from fossil fuel and the decreasing in fossil fuel production helps in decreasing the gap between the cost of generating energy from renewables and fossil fuel.
The presented research intend to help the architects and the interior designers in designing self-sustain facilities that generates its own energy based on renewable energy instead of relying on fossil fuel.
Using the human population density in generating energy from renewable piezoelectric tiles in public facilities is the aim of this research, which helps in creating energy self-sustain projects were people will start to produce nonstop energy from walking throughout the facility.
This research intend to help in spreading the use of piezoelectric tiles and to overcome the basic knowledge of architects and interior designers in 3rd world counties toward the properties of renewables by presenting a useful framework as a designing tool that can be used by architects and interior designers to create self-sustain project.
The presented framework will help in redesigning the building floors of public facilities and replace the regular flooring tiles with piezoelectric tiles that produce a big amount of energy for electrifying the project.
