The functions of parliament have been strengthened by a very important competence, namely the evaluation of public policies, in an attempt by the constitutional legislator to highlight a kind of semantic and functional distinction between monitoring, inquiry, and evaluation.

Public policies reveal to us, on the one hand, the nature of the political system and the dynamism of political action and, on the other hand, the legitimacy of achievement.

The issue of public policy evaluation has come to play an important role in every policy.

The relationship of Parliament with constitutional institutions in the field of public policy evaluation in Morocco has gradually developed, which we will try to study through Research the chapters of the Constitution that define the boundaries of the functions of the parliamentary institution, by understanding the evaluative function of the Moroccan parliament.

The Speaker of the Houses of Parliament, upon the decision of their Bureaux, may address a request to the Economic, Social and Environmental Council or one of the governing bodies and constitutional institutions to express an opinion or to prepare a study or research on public policies to be evaluated.
