Abstract EN

This research seeks to try to identify the concept of religion and the concept of ideology, in addition to, the circumstances the word "ideology" invented by Destutt de Tracy in 1796 AD went through.

in fact, it seems that ideology is not new except in the fact that it was known and became famous and had a name.

as for its characteristics and uses, it goes back to ancient times, moreover, when taking into account its content and meaning instead of the name, it will be found that it is as old as the civilization.

the research is also interested in highlighting the problems of the relationship between religion and ideology, by identifying the points of distinction, and observing the similarities and differences between them, as well as showing how to employ religion in the ideological frameworks, through theories and reasons of the transformation of religion into an ideology.
