Inheritance at all its religious, literary, artistic and cultural levels is an important tributary of Arab poetry in all its stages, and there is hardly a poetic text devoid of reference, quotation or inclusion of a previous text, especially from inherited texts, but the position of inheritance is different among intellectuals, especially poets.

Among them, some of the poets are in harmony with the heritage and consider it sacred, and some of them try to prune it by taking what is good from it, and some of them reject it and try to negate or refute it.

His paradox of the Arab heritage, and the monitoring of the positions and ideas that the poet Mahdi Al-Ghanimi refuted.
