Man passes different stages during his life journey.

one of these stages that plays an important part in his life is death.

death is a stage in which soul departs from the body.

soul departure ranges from very easy i to very difficult stages depending on one's deeds.

some people view death as the end of life and complete destruction.

according to islam, however, death is only a transfer from this world to the other one, which ends his worldly life.

it is obvious that people are classified in different groups in the resurrection.

this paper is going to specify the number and features of these classes.

according to this survey, in the resurrection people will be classified in three main groups i known as : the companions of the right, the companions of the left and the devoted.
