The phenomenon has become a major of corruption field in both local and international studies, and it is becoming more and more important to fight and treat it because of its negative impact on any society, regardless of the level of social development or consciousness, or social, cultural or economic backwardness, because corruption exists in all societies.

this study aims to identify the types of corruption in terms of the areas in which they are prevalent, and to refer to the types of corruption (political, administrative, financial, economic, cultural, moral, social, judicial, ideological, environmental, security, and media), as well as an analysis of the relationship between the phenomenon of corruption and democracy and globalization, with a definition of the relationship between corruption and the two terms mentioned from deterring corruption and reduce its level, or increase the spread and penetration.
