Abstract EN

The philosophical secondary intelligible (al-ma’qul al-thani alfalsafi) is among the most important subjects of philosophy, as numerous philosophical issues are based on these Intelligibles.

According to Sabzewari, the famous Islamic philosopher, destroying these intelligibles is equal to the destruction of many philosophical principles; however, we found that some of the later philosophers disagree with Sabzewari in this view, upholding the existence of the philosophical secondary intelligibles in the external world, contrary to the well-known notion, in order to avoid the problem which they were unable to solve.

But, by putting some of Sabzewari’s words together, we found a resolution to the problem.

Then, we associated it with a logical issue having an impact on the whole philosophical principles which the subsistence of truth and necessity are considered as their condition.

Subsequently, we shed light on the views of other philosophers and recognized them as inadequate, because they would not include the privative concepts.
