Abstract EN

The objective of the study is to explore the status of knowledge management practices in the Jordanian government universities, and its relationship with quality assurance practices in the higher education.

The sample of study consist of (438) teaching staff, using, a quantitative survey method, the result showed a (high) level practices of knowledge management among government universities.

The finding of the study also showed that gender, university, year of services have showed no difference level, the only significant difference has appeared with faculty member’s job level specifically those with (6 to 10 years), and above (10 years), of experience.

On the other hand, the level of quality assurance among high education institutions are found to appear at a (high) level.

There is no significant difference in relation to gender and university where years of service (except leadership and academic reputation), quality awards, and university infrastructure have shown a significant relationship specifically those with (6 to 10 years), of experience.

Furthermore, quality of graduates and academic job level have shown a significant difference.

The finding has supported the hypothesis of an existence of a significant relationship between practices of knowledge management and level of quality assurance in higher education.
