Abstract EN

This study aims to discuss intertextuality in the poetry of the "storm of firmness", mechanics of brin ing embedded texts, and the ways they are employed.

it has twofold : the first of which is entitled "in tertextuality and its importance in modern literary criticism", and the second is entitled "intertextuality in embedded texts in the poetry of the "storm of firmness".

also, one part concentrates on religious intertextuality (the Holy Qur'an and the prophetic hadeeth) and literary intertextuality.

moreover, the last part focuses on literary intertextuality in (old and modern Arabic poetry/old Arabic proverbs).

this is preceded by an introduction which entails the aim of this study, the methodology, limitations, literature review, and the structure of the study.

finally, the conclusion highlights the results reached in this study, followed by the list of references.
