Abstract EN

The current study aimed to reveal the effectiveness of using e-learning environments in developing digital citizenship concepts among students at Al-Baha University.

the quasi-experimental approach with its quasi-experimental design has been used.

the study tool consisted of an achievement test to measure the cognitive aspects of digital citizenship concepts.

the sample consisted of (50) students who were divided into an experimental group (taught using the e-learning environments strategy) and a control group (taught using the usual method).

the results showed significant differences at the level (a≤0.05) on the cognitive achievement test in the post-test in favor of the experimental group in digital citizenship concepts, which was studied by the e-learning environments strategy the study also found to work on enhancing the use of the e-learning environments to develop the cognitive aspects related to digital citizenship concepts for students at the university.
