The novel,The Kite Runner,sheds light on a turbulent period in the history of Afghanistan in which it witnessed dramatic changes.

Expulsion in Hosseini's The Kite Runner is a pivotal issue which is manifested in various modes.

It is presented by several characters that practice it towards each other, or ethnos, ideologies and even communities which involve in critical encounters.Very noticeably,the setting of the novel participates in evolving disagreement and tension which consequently result in a modes of expulsion.That is to say,the multicultural setting and the political disputes depicted in the novel whether in the first setting,Afghanistan with all its complications; or later in America, provokes a significant tendency to expel the other or arousing tendency to eliminate a mood due to nostalgic experiences.The need to adopt expulsion is basically a perquisite to perform a state of dominance over an idea,an individual,an ethnicity due to psychological motives.Generally,this paper explores the various facets of expulsion presented in novel as it is stated in all its modes.These modes of expulsion,its roots and dimensions would be the concern of the present paper.
