Abstract EN

The current study aims to know (the level of lateral thinking at the students of the third intermediate grade from the point of view of their teachers), and to achieve this the researcher put the following question: What is the level of lateral thinking at the request of the third intermediate grade in the schools of Babylon Governorate from the point of view of teachers? The study is limited to: The spatial boundaries of the middle and secondary schools affiliated to the General Directorate of Education in the center of Babel Governorate.

•Time limits - the academic year 2021-2022 AD.

•Human limits Male and female middle school teachers in the public schools of the General Directorate of Education in Babylon.

In order to achieve the goal of the study, the researcher adopted the descriptive approach, which is one of the most common and widespread approaches in educational and psychological research.

The study population consisted of (6208) male and female teachers of public secondary education, for middle schools.

and secondary schools, with a total of (2854) teachers, and (3354) schools, distributed over (288) schools for males, females, and mixed schools.

For the academic year 2021-2022, the researcher chose two schools randomly to represent the sample of the initial survey study, which included (60) male and female teachers, with (30) male and female (30) female teachers, and the aim of this sample was to identify the clarity of the instructions, and answering the scale items, and calculating the time taken to respond, which ranged between (20-30) minutes.

The researcher chose a random sample of (620) male and female teachers, from teachers of secondary education, middle and secondary schools, and thus the proportion of the sample to the community was (20%), by (285) male teachers, and (335) female teachers.

The researcher designed a questionnaire to identify the level of lateral thinking among Students of the finished stages as seen by the teachers, after reviewing the educational literature and previous studies, and through an exploratory questionnaire, containing an open question distributed to (30) male and female teachers from secondary education for the finished stages in the schools of the province of Babylon.

The researcher has adopted a set of methods to verify the sincerity of and stability of the resolution.

The responses were transcribed and entered into the computer, and statistical package for social science (SPSS) was used to analyze the data and get the results.
