The research aims to know the trends towards scientific modernity as seen by applied students from the departments of history and geography, the researchers used the descriptive research approach, the research sample reached (100) students, the researchers used the research tool to measure the trend towards scientific modernity relying on the literature and previous studies and consulting expert experts, which is Of (40) paragraphs in the style of verbal positions in front of each position three alternatives are (modern trend, transitional direction, traditional direction), and the scale was verified by presenting it to specialized experts by (80%) and more, and its stability in the way of re-testing, and after the data is empty, The results showed that there are positive trends at a high level among the applied students from the history and geography sections towards scientific modernity.

Raising and creating a positive trend towards scientific modernity, and also sometimes negative, Through the conclusions, the researchers recommended the necessity of holding cultural and scientific symposia inside the university dealing with the topic of scientific modernity and explaining its importance, dimensions and meanings, and to complement the current research, the researchers suggested conducting a similar study on other samples.
