Abstract EN

The aim of the research is to reveal the perceptions of faculty members about the effectiveness of electronic educational platforms and their role in developing health awareness among students of the Department of Science at Sumer University , they were chosen by the stratified random method with equal distribution, and for the purposes of the study, the two researchers built a scale of electronic educational platforms consisting of (44) items, and a scale of health awareness consisting of (30) items, and the validity and reliability of both scales were verified, and the researchers used the statistical bag for social sciences (SPSS) Statistical Package for to process data and extract results.

The results showed: 1- The average of the sample members is higher than the hypothetical average, and this means that the electronic educational platforms came at a high level and had a positive impact.

2- There are no statistically significant differences between males and females, due to the nature of the university environment to which they belong and the same cultural level of males and females.

3- There are no statistically significant differences in health awareness according to the variable of specialization, and this can be explained that the sample members possess a good level of health awareness in both sections, regardless of specialization.

4- There is a positive correlation between electronic educational platforms and health awareness, if the calculated value reached (8.33) which is greater than the tabular value (1.96).

The research recommended the following: 1-Training of faculty members through workshops and seminars on the use of electronic educational platforms in the educational process.

2-The formation of mobile health teams by the Ministry of Health to visit universities to deliver awareness lectures related to health awareness for students.
