This research aims to know the effect of the question-asking strategy on the achievement of social studies for first-grade intermediate students, and the study sample consisted of (89) students, each of whom was divided into two experimental groups who studied using the question-asking strategy, and a control group who studied in the traditional way and the experiment was conducted for four weeks.The t-test was used for the two independent samples at the level of significance (0.05) to test the null hypotheses of the study.

The results showed that there were statistically significant differences in achievement in favor of the experimental group, due to the teaching method.
