Abstract EN

The research aim to identify (thinking of high school students ) , & the researcher flowed the descriptive approach in his research procedures, being the most appropriate method with the current research and the curriculum from students of AL-tahtheeb high school their number (310) students while the research sample was that have been selected stratified randomly from al tahtheeb students, whereas the number of the research students (60) students (girls & boys), the research tools was a questionnaire it included a set of paragraphs it is possible to measure probe thinking for high school students, the researcher applied it to the study sample after verifying its validity and reliability where reliability coefficient (0.82) and researcher relied in his research on a number of statistical methods are (one sample T- test independent samples T-test and pearson correlation coefficient) and after analyze the research result the researcher concluded that the level of probing thinking is low because the prevailing curricula don't urge students to break out of the norm.
