Abstract EN

The research aims to know : (the effect of the stepans model in correcting spelling errors among primary school students), and to achieve the goal of the research through the following null hypothesis : (there is no statistically significant difference at the significance level (0.05) for the average scores of the experimental group students who corrected spelling errors using the (stepans) model, and the average scores of the control group students who correct spelling errors in the usual way the experimental method was adopted in the research procedures, and he chose the school (Safi al-Din al-Hilli) in the Muqdadiyah district of Diyala governorate, and it was represented by the fifth grade students.

they correct spelling errors according to the stepans model, and Division (B) numbered (40) students, to represent the control group, and they corrected according to the usual method, and the research sample amounted to (80) students.

the researcher was statistically rewarded between the two research groups in the following variables : (Arabic language grades in the previous year, the student's chronological age calculated in months, and the parents' educational achievement level).

the researcher formulated behavioral goals and reached (50) behavioral goals distributed among the first three levels of bloom's classification (knowledge, understanding, application), and in light of the topics, he prepared teaching plans to teach the two research groups.

two models of these plans were presented to a group of experts and specialists.

the researcher adopted sequential tests to measure students' achievement in dictation, and adopted criteria ready for correction (Abbas study 2019) and the researcher used appropriate statistical methods.
